Standards that make sense in daily use
KALU is designed to be used every day — not occasionally, not carefully.
That’s why the materials and tests behind it matter.
We didn’t aim for what’s acceptable.
We chose what felt responsible for something you drink from, often and without thinking.
How KALU is tested
-
FDA standard
FDA testing focuses on specific substances such as lead and cadmium.
It meets minimum regulatory requirements for food contact products. -
LFGB standard (KALU choice)
LFGB evaluates a broader range of substances and overall material migration,
making it one of the most demanding food-contact standards available. KALU is tested to LFGB standards.
Because what you don’t taste or notice is just as important as what you do.
